Our History

First of all, let us make it clear that we have no political or religious affiliation whatsoever.

Here at Carluke Primrose we think our history is important, so it's all been recorded here over the years. Let's face it, without our founding members and everyone else who followed, we'd be nothing like what we are today. 

It's all here starting from the 17th September 1938 when the band was first formed leading right through the more modern times and present day.

We've come a long way from parading in the streets and entering competitions at Grade 3 to playing huge concerts and competing at the very top level.
